Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN - Labor and Delivery/LDRP Float

Shift: Days / 6:45a-7:15p, 12x3, 36hrs per week +Call, Every third weekend, every other holiday

Length: 13 Weeks

Requirements:

• ND license
• 2 Years Experience
• Previous travel experience
• Able to read and interpret fetal strips, critical thinking, follow quality metrics, must be able to read strips
• BLS, Intermediate Fetal Monitoring
• Preferred: ACLS, NRP, STABLE

Other Details:

• EMR: Meditech
• # of L&D Beds: 15 total- 7 L&D, 8 Postpartum
• Do you follow AWHONN guidelines for ratios?: 1:1 for pit, mag, or insulin drips. 1:3 couplet care
• Common diagnoses/Types of patients: Mix. Mainly obstetric/neonates, hypertension, GDM, try not to deliver anyone less than 36 weeks
• Could float within skillset
• Floating Requirements: Yes - Medsurg, ER. wherever in the hospital the nurse is needed - perm staff is usually first to float
• Radius Rule: 50 miles
