Job Opportunities Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN - CVOR

Shift: Days / 6:30a-5p, 10x4, 40 hrs per week, M-F
Length: 13 Weeks 
With rotating day off; Call - up to 2 overnight/week and 4 weekends per 13 week contract
Requirements:

• IA/Compact License 
• 2+ years of current/recent operating room experience 
• Strong & proficient experience in: Cardiac, vascular, thoracic experience
• Circulating / operating room experience 
• Basic General Surgery circulating experience
• Scrub experience needed including open heart scrubbing experience
• EPIC electronic medical systems experience within previous 3 years
• BLS AHA
• Experience in the following cases: (daVinci robotics, pediatrics, trauma, Neurology, orthopedics (primarily trauma), gynecology, urology, transplants, plastics, Ear, nose, throat, Vascular) preferred
• Trauma Level I experience highly preferred
• Trauma level II experience highly preferred
• Scrub or Circulate - both would be preferred

Other Details:

• EMR: EPIC
• No 1st time travelers, must have completed a travel assignment within previous 2 years
• Avg. caseload – Average 35-50 cases per day.  Expectation for turnovers is less than 20 minutes
• Special equipment – 3 Davinci robots. Use Stealth technology for Neuro navigation and use primarily Synthes or Stryker for ortho trauma.  We don’t do many ortho joints
• How many suites – 16 OR’s.  Run from 12-14 routinely.  As a level 1 trauma center, we reserve space for traumas
• Service lines -  Cardiac/ PV, Neuro, ortho (primarily trauma), robotics, gyn, uro, general, pediatrics, transplants.  We do a small volume of ENT and plastic procedures
• Local Radius rule: 50 miles
• Patient Ratios: 1:1
• Bed Size: 16
