Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Traven RN - NICU
Shift: Nights / 7p-7:30a, 12x3, 36 hs per week
Length: 13 weeks
Weekend rotation: every other; may have a few back-to-back weekends, but rare
On call: No
Requirements:
- WA License
- 2 years of Level III-IV NICU experience
- Skills required: respiratory support for vents (required), trachs (highly preferred, not required), g-tubes, NG/OG, NCPAP, UAC/UVC management, PICC lines, med admin, care plans, DC to home
- BLS
- NRP
Other Details:
- EMR: EPIC
- Floating: possibly to ER to act as a sitter, but rare
- Consider first-time Traveler: Yes, but travel experience strongly preferred
- Patient Types/Common Diagnoses: prematurity down to 22 weeks gestation, RDS, high-risk deliveries and patients, feeders/growers, NAS; preferred experience – surgical patients, HIE (Hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy)
- 152 bed level II children’s hospital with level IV NICU (2nd highest in the state)
- Beds: 70 NICU beds, census is typically around 50
