Shift: Variable or Nights / 12x3, 36hrs per week
Duration: 13 weeks
Requirements:
- NH License
- 2 years of Progressive level of care nursing experience or Critical Care nursing experience
- Cardiology specialty experience
- Cardiac surgery specialty experience
- BLS
- ACLS certified
- 2 years of Critical care experience highly preferred (does not have to be cardiac ICU specific) preferred
- Charge RN experience preferred
- RN precepting experience preferred
- Unit Dress Code: any color scrubs & DHMC dress code policy
- Continuous invasive pressure monitoring (Arterial Line, CVP monitoring)
- Temporary pacing (transvenous pacing, epicardial wire pacing)
- Vasopressor infusion management (phenylephrine, norepinephrine)
- Inotrope infusion management (milrinone, dobutamine)
- Chest tube management
- Phlebotomy
- Peripheral IV insertion
