Tidepoint Healthcare Staffing is hiring a Travel RN - PCU - Nursing Float Pool

Shift: Nights, 7p-7a, 12x3, 36hrs per week

Length: 15 weeks

Weekends will vary depending on the needs of the unit.
No holiday requests, self scheduling, on-call

Requirements:

• WA License
• 2 years of PCU experience
• Skills required: PCU: Cardiac rhythm interpretation, Chest tubes, lumbar drains, traches, required IV med titration (Amiodarone, Cardizem, nitro, dopamine, dobutamine, non-DKA insulin, heparin; sometimes Cardene)
• BLS, ACLS, NIHSS

Other Details:

• EMR: EPIC
• Could float for partial shifts
• Will be Mainly ED-HOLD floating
• First-time traveler accepted
• Patient Ratios: PCU and CCU 1:4 depending on acuity or if patient discharging
• Patient Types/Common Diagnoses: PCU: 40 beds: 2R Obs 18 beds; Respiratory compromise, Sepsis, renal failure, bleeding disorders, general medical/surgical patients, CHF, COPD, Pneumonia, General, ortho cases
