Shift: Nights / 7p-7a, 12x3, 36hrs per week, every third weekend
Length: 13 Weeks
Requirements:

• IN license
• 2 years experience
• Interpretation/management of dysrhythmias, arterial line management, starting ivs, continuous iv sedation, titrate cardiac drips, care of ventilated patient, ventilator management
• BLS
• ACLS

Others:

• First Time Travelers
• Floating required to progressive care
• COVID-19 Vaccine (Facility Guideline): Not Required
• Flu Vaccine (Facility Guideline): Required - Medical/Religious Exemptions Only
• Candidates under 50 miles will be accepted

Staffing Ratios: 1:2
Unit Information: 18 bed open critical care unit Staffed 2 patients to 1 RN unless high acuity then 1:1, No ECMO, No Transplant No NeuroTrauma/Neurosurg. CV/Open Heart surgery staffed by Ball/own nurses for first 36 hours. Resp Failure, Sepsis, CHF, Covid numbers declining, STEMI, Surgical. IABP and CVVHD ran on unit but not necessary for travel contract.
