Description
Special Education Teacher
Full-Time | 2026–2027 School Year | School-Based
We are seeking a Special Education Teacher to support students with diverse learning needs in a school setting for the upcoming school year. This role focuses on delivering individualized instruction, supporting academic and behavioral growth, and ensuring students have access to the curriculum in alignment with their IEPs.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
Provide differentiated instruction based on student needs and learning styles
Monitor student progress and adjust instruction using data
Support behavioral, social, and emotional development
Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and families
Participate in IEP meetings and maintain compliance documentation
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or related field
Active state teaching certification or eligibility
Experience working in K–12 special education settings preferred
Strong classroom management and communication skills
