School Overview
36 total students; most require PT services.
PTA Role Summary
Support delivery of PT services for students ages 3–22 with diverse physical and developmental needs.
Work under supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
M-F: 8:30 - 2:30 PM
Key Responsibilities
Implement PT goals outlined in students’ IEPs.
Provide direct and consultative services in classrooms, therapy rooms, and community settings.
Collaborate with teachers, paras, and related service providers.
Assist with setup and use of adaptive equipment and mobility aids.
Monitor progress and report observations to supervising PT.
Participate in IEP meetings when needed.
Train staff on safe handling and mobility techniques.
Maintain accurate, compliant documentation.
