Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified RN, MedSurg / Tele to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-shift leadership, ensuring safe and high-quality patient care.
• Blend responsibilities of charge nurse, clinical mentor, and manager effectively.
• Round on patients and address service or safety concerns promptly.
• Serve as a resource for both clinical and interpersonal issues.
• Take charge nurse assignments as needed based on census and staffing.
• Support staff and promote a positive work environment.

Qualifications

• Must not be a first-time traveler.
• Recent charge RN experience in the last assignment required.
• Three weeks of orientation: one week classroom, two weeks unit-based.
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS (AHA), NIHSS - AHA or APEX.
• BSN not required; license to submit is needed.
• Familiarity with Cerner charting system and acute care setting.
