Job Summary
Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Nuclear Medicine Tech to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform nuclear medicine procedures and imaging under established protocols.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging processes.
- Administer radiopharmaceuticals and manage radiation safety protocols.
- Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment effectively.
- Comply with facility-specific policies, including artificial nail restrictions.
- Provide accurate and timely documentation utilizing EPIC charting system.
Qualifications
- Current BLS Certification required.
- Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) via NMTCB Certificate.
- Driver's license required for submission determination outside 50-mile radius.
- Preferred DOT Certification at the beginning of contract, mandatory for extensions.
- Competency in using Siemens PET/CT and E.CAM systems preferred.
- Availability for call one day per week and every fifth weekend.
