Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Physical Therapist (PT) to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Float between acute and ambulatory rehab units as needed
• Coordinate weekend availability as necessary for patient care
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to reduce pain and restore mobility
• Utilize Meditech documentation system to ensure accurate patient records
• Apply CMS skilled criteria and medical necessity guidelines appropriately
• Provide age-appropriate therapy from pediatrics to geriatrics

Qualifications

• Current or pending New Mexico PT license, must be obtained prior to start date
• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred
• At least one year of inpatient experience (excluding student clinicals)
• Competency in performing acute and orthopedic physical therapy
• Ability to work independently as the sole PT provider in the setting
• Familiarity with the Cerner electronic medical records (EMR) system
