Job Summary
Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse (RN) for PCU/IMC/Stepdown to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care in a stepdown unit.
- Monitor and assess patients, responding to changes in condition or treatment.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Utilize telemetry for patient monitoring and assessments.
- Coordinate with interdisciplinary team members for comprehensive care delivery.
- Document care interventions and patient responses in the electronic medical record.
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Tennessee or compact license in good standing.
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a PCU, stepdown, or similar setting.
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
- Experience in a Level I Trauma Center required.
- Travel and large hospital experience preferred.
- Cerner experience preferred.
