Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - ICU to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 16-bed ICU with a patient ratio of 2:1, sometimes adjusting to 1:1 or 3:1 depending on acuity and staffing.
• Operate and manage equipment such as ventilators, EVDs, CRRT, SLED, and EV 1000.
• Document patient care using Meditech.
• Ensure adherence to minimum weekend shifts within the scheduling policy, while participating in self-scheduling and shift management.
• Float to med/surg when necessary, meeting expected staffing needs across the facility.
• Provide attentive and compassionate care to patients and their families, enhancing the overall patient experience.

Qualifications

• Active RN license with current ACLS and BLS certifications.
• Previous ICU nursing experience.
• Proficient in advanced ICU procedures such as central line insertion, arterial lines, lumbar punctures, and chest tube insertions.
• Experience with EVD insertions.
• Familiarity with the use of Meditech documentation systems.
• Adherence to hospital dress code in navy scrubs.
