Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to obstetric patients and assist with deliveries including high-risk cases.
• Function as a Baby Nurse during delivery, ensuring the care and safety of newborns until transfer to postpartum.
• Manage and administer medications such as Heparin, Insulin, and Magnesium Sulfate as per protocol.
• Float between postpartum, antepartum, and sister facilities performing standard nursing duties as required.
• Ensure accurate documentation using EPIC electronic medical records.
• Participate actively in patient safety and quality improvement tasks following AWHONN guidelines.

Qualifications

• Active nursing license with compact license recognition at Swedish facilities.
• A minimum of 3-5 years of labor and delivery experience in a high-risk, high-acuity environment.
• Current certifications in BLS and NRP; ACLS and AWHONN Advanced preferred.
• Proven ability to circulate during C-sections and provide thorough newborn assessments.
• Proficiency in EPIC charting system and electronic fetal monitoring.
• Ability to work every other weekend and holidays as needed, adhering to assigned shifts and rotations.
