Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Intensive Care Unit to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess critically ill patients with varying acuity levels.
• Administer medications and manage complex medical equipment such as Arctic Sun and Continuous EEG.
• Perform and assist with procedures including central line placements, arterial line placements, paracentesis, thoracentesis, and intubation.
• Document patient care and progress using Meditech system.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams including unit secretaries and nurse techs to ensure patient-centered care.
• Float to ICU overflow unit as needed and maintain patient experience standards.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure and ICU experience.
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Ability to work 36 hours per week with every other weekend commitment.
