Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Intensive Care Unit (ICU) to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 12-bed ICU, adhering to a 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio.
• Utilize standard critical care equipment including Impella and Hemosphere.
• Document patient information accurately using Meditech system.
• Participate in flexible scheduling, including three weekend shifts per month.
• Float to other units such as PCU and medical surgical as required.
• Respond to rapid response events and code blue situations effectively.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Tennessee or compact state licensure.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required; CCRN preferred.
• Minimum of one year of cardiac critical care experience.
• Proficient in post-operative cardiac patient care, including managing Impella heart pumps.
• Ability to perform intubations and hemodynamic monitoring.
• Strong communication skills and ability to treat patients with respect and courtesy.
