Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Respiratory Therapist - NICU to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy services in a Level 3 NICU environment.
• Operate neonatal oscillating and Draeger ventilators proficiently.
• Float between Bridgeport Hospital and Milford Campuses to meet staffing needs.
• Prepare and administer inhalation therapies and aerosol medications.
• Assist in neonatal high-risk deliveries and manage airway support.
• Educate and orient new hires or students as required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience, including Level 1 Trauma exposure.
• Strong NICU experience with neonatal ventilator proficiency.
• Hold valid BLS, CT License, and CRT or RRT certification.
• Experience with EPIC charting systems is preferred.
• Must have travel experience and be adaptable to multiple facilities.
• Flexible to work every other weekend and holidays as required.
