Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

Assist with general Operating Room and Cardiovascular cases.
Scrub in as needed for open heart procedures, including assisting with heart stabilization and closing.
Support 16 CVOR suites, with an average of 30 cases per day, including 1-2 heart surgeries.
Participate in one weekday and one weekend on-call rotation each month, with a 30-minute response time.
Maintain Epic EMR charting and compliance with hospital protocols and regulations.
Float to General OR PRN if no CVOR cases are available, ensuring coverage across hospital divisions.

Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse license.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
Open Heart and/or Endovascular experience required.
Experience in acute care CVOR settings preferred.
Knowledge of Epic EMR systems beneficial.
Ability to work 0630-1700 shifts with negotiable scheduling and mandatory on-call rotation.
