Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - MedSurg to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care for a MedSurg unit with 20 beds and a 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio.
• Administer medications, manage infusion pumps, and titrate drips such as Insulin, Heparin, and Levophed.
• Conduct patient assessments, document care plans, and adjust treatments as necessary.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care and effective patient outcomes.
• Float to the ER to assist based on staffing needs; flexibility in floating is appreciated.
• Engage in unit-specific orientation and ongoing learning opportunities.

Qualifications

• Current RN license with eligibility to submit; BSN not required.
• Certifications required: ACLS, BLS, and PALS (AHA).
• Experience in acute care and critical access hospital settings is preferred.
• Proficiency in using the MEDITECH charting system.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Confidence in skills such as assessments, medication administration, and respiratory equipment management.
