Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - ICU to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU setting.
• Maintain a sterile field and perform essential procedures such as Foley catheter insertions and central line dressing changes.
• Float to other ICUs and tele units as needed, ensuring high standards of care.
• Collaborate with intensivists and healthcare staff to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Demonstrate proficiency in IV skills and manage high acuity patients, including those with cardiac surgery recovery needs.
• Participate in a rotating schedule including weekends and holidays to meet unit needs.

Qualifications

• Current RN license and experience in a Level I Trauma center.
• Must pass dysrhythmia exam with two attempts; travel nurses are required to have strong cardiac patient care skills.
• BSN preferred; ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• Experience in a high acuity ICU setting with skills in IABP and CABG management preferred.
• Ability to perform bedside procedures and maintain patient safety and care standards.
• Must have natural hair color and no facial piercings; men must be clean-shaven for fit test compliance.
