Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Speech Language Pathologist to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Deliver speech therapy to patients in outpatient and inpatient settings, treating up to 9 outpatients and 13 inpatients per day depending on assignment.
• Perform and interpret bedside swallow and video swallowing studies.
• Collaborate with rehab aides and therapists to facilitate effective rehabilitation services.
• Adhere to facility's protocol regarding uniform and orientation procedures.
• Manage patients with various diagnoses including stroke, TBI, neuro, trauma, and cognitive impairments.
• Float between different areas as required by facility needs.

Qualifications

• Current CCC-SLP certification required.
• Valid BLS certification.
• Experience with Cerner EMR system preferred.
• At least one year of experience in a clinical setting.
• Preferred experience includes trauma and travel; inpatient experience considered if requirements are met.
• Ability to work varied shifts, including some weekends.
