Job Summary
Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Radiation Therapist to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.
Responsibilities
- Provide radiation therapy treatments to patients as prescribed by a physician.
- Maintain detailed records of patient treatment plans and progress.
- Operate and manage radiation therapy equipment safely and accurately.
- Communicate effectively with the healthcare team and patients.
- Assist in the design and implementation of patient-specific treatment plans.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and facility standards during treatment.
Qualifications
- ARRT T certification and active LA State License required; ARRT R preferred.
- Current BLS certification.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Radiation Therapist.
- Experience with various radiation therapy techniques and equipment, including Varian True Beam and Varian Trilogy.
- Strong understanding of radiation safety protocols.
- Ability to work as part of an interdisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment.
