Job Summary
Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Surgical Services - OR Tech / Surgical Tech to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.
Responsibilities
- Assist in cardiovascular operating rooms with procedures such as CABG, AAA, TAVR, and valve replacements.
- Maintain and manage surgical instruments and equipment, ensuring availability and sterility during procedures.
- Collaborate with surgeons, RNs, and other surgical staff to provide optimal patient outcomes.
- Demonstrate proficiency in open heart surgical procedures and patient care.
- Adhere to facility and departmental policies, including the use of Meditech EMR systems.
- Participate in on-call rotations based on staffing and facility needs.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1-year current acute care CVOR Tech hospital experience.
- Current BLS, DORA, and NBSTA certifications required.
- Experience with open heart surgical procedures.
- Preferred experience with Meditech and prior travel as a CVOR Tech in large trauma facilities.
- Strong communication skills focusing on enhancing patient experience and collaboration with staff.
- Flexibility and ability to work as part of a high-functioning team.
