Job Summary
Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Cath Lab Tech to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform cardiac catheterization procedures and assist with fluoroscopy as certified.
- Participate in electrophysiology studies, providing support in panning and circulating tasks.
- Ensure compliance with ARRT requirements and maintain the sterile field.
- Manage on-call responsibilities and work variable shifts as scheduled.
- Adapt to floating to different units, such as allowing work between Providence Mission Laguna Beach.
- Provide quality patient care, effectively interpreting arrhythmias and handling emergency interventions.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of invasive cardiac cath lab experience required.
- Must hold BLS certification, a Flouro Permit, and a California state license.
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification required.
- Experience with EP procedures, heart catheterizations, and room circulations preferred.
- Capability to handle tasks such as cardiac mapping and electrophysiology evaluations.
- Experience using Epic for charting is preferred; community hospital experience required.
