Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care for mother and newborn in a high-risk labor and delivery setting.
• Utilize EPIC electronic fetal monitoring for patient evaluation.
• Assist with high-risk deliveries and perform neonatal care tasks, including vitamin K injections and assessments.
• Administer and manage medications such as Insulin and Magnesium Sulfate.
• Maintain readiness to float between postpartum, antepartum, and sister facilities as required.
• Ensure detailed documentation of patient care activities and assessments in compliance with AWHONN guidelines.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a high acuity and high pace labor and delivery environment.
• Active BLS and NRP certifications, with preferred ACLS and AWHONN Advanced certifications.
• Proficient in the use of EPIC charting system and electronic fetal monitoring.
• Proven ability to function as Baby Nurse during delivery, providing newborn care up to postpartum transfer.
• Demonstrated experience in circulating for C-sections and providing couplet care.
• Flexibility to work every other weekend and holidays as needed, with pre-approved time off managed case by case.
