Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Respiratory Therapist to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

Provide respiratory therapy to adult and pediatric patients as directed by physicians.
Monitor and evaluate patient progress, adjusting care plans as needed.
Document treatment and patient responses in electronic medical records.
Operate and maintain respiratory therapy equipment, including ventilators and oxygen devices.
Float to all critical care units and floors as required.
Participate in weekend shifts as scheduled, ensuring comprehensive patient care coverage.

Qualifications

Current North Carolina Respiratory License.
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification.
Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications.
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification preferred.
Proficiency in using Cerner electronic medical records system.
Ability to work effectively within interdisciplinary teams and adapt to fast-paced environments.
