Job Summary
Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse, Telemetry to support patient care and clinical operations within Nebraska Medical Center. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry readings to ensure patient stability.
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to medical/surgical patients, including those with behavioral health needs.
- Administer medications and drips, including heparin, insulin, and vasoactive agents.
- Float to various units such as medical/surgical, observation, and stepdown as needed.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to deliver patient-centered care.
- Ensure compliance with all hospital protocols and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Active BLS certification; ACLS and CPI preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a large, urban hospital.
- Proficiency in EPIC charting and telemetry monitoring.
- Ability to manage cardiac drips and complex medical conditions.
- Previous experience with behavioral health patients preferred.
- Nebraska RN license or pending license; must be more than 100 miles from the facility.
