Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Intensive Care Unit (ICU) to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive care to patients in various ICU settings, including MICU, SICU, TICU, and CVICU.
  • Maintain nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:1 to 1:3, adjusting according to patient acuity levels.
  • Administer and titrate critical drips, such as pressors, sedation, and paralytics.
  • Collaborate with respiratory therapists to manage and troubleshoot respiratory equipment, including vents, Cpap, and BiPap.
  • Interpret and monitor telemetry readings independently without monitor tech support.
  • Float between designated ICU facilities within Zone 1 as needed, providing versatile and flexible care.

Qualifications

  • Valid RN license to practice in Colorado.
  • Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required.
  • Prior travel nursing experience preferred; if first-time traveler, 3+ years of ICU experience needed.
  • Proficient in EPIC charting system with the ability to adapt quickly to new settings.
  • Required certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), NIHSS.
  • Willingness to float to different facilities within a 60-mile radius is essential.
