Job Summary
Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Cath Lab Tech specializing in Cardiology to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.
Responsibilities
- Participate in cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures with a team of professionals.
- Monitor hemodynamics and assist in scrubbing for procedures.
- Work collaboratively with RNs for providing conscious sedation.
- Manage and maintain surgical instruments and imaging equipment.
- Participate in rotating on-call schedule for inpatient and emergency procedures.
- Maintain detailed documentation of procedures using Cerner charting system.
Qualifications
- Certification in ARRT and Fluoroscopy; BLS Certification required.
- Current cath lab experience in a STEMI receiving facility.
- Proficiency with cardiac drips, balloon pumps, and procedural processes.
- Experience with cardiac, vascular, peripheral, and neuro interventions.
- Ability to manage airway and provide moderate sedation.
- Willingness to participate in a rotating call schedule for weekends and weeknights.
