Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Physical Therapist to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive physical therapy services to inpatient and outpatient populations.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop individualized patient care plans.
• Assess patients' physical abilities and develop rehabilitation strategies focusing on spinal cord injuries, traumatic brain injuries, and stroke recovery.
• Ensure proper documentation in the Cerner EMR system.
• Adhere to scheduling requirements including every other weekend work rotation.
• Facilitate patient recovery through therapeutic exercises, education, and wellness programs.

Qualifications

• Current Physical Therapist license to practice in California.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Minimum of two years active experience in an acute care setting.
• Experience with orthopedic, neurological, and cardiac patient management required.
• Spanish-speaking preferred with experience in outpatient or home health settings being advantageous.
• COVID-19 vaccination required.
