Job Summary
Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Intensive Care Unit (ICU) to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive care to patients in a Level 1 trauma ICU setting.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Float among all ICU areas and MedSurg/Tele units as needed.
- Perform bedside procedures such as Bronchs, Trachs, and Hemodialysis catheter placements.
- Ensure sterile field maintenance during SIMs Lab and competency in Foley catheter and port-a-cath insertions.
- Interpret cardiac rhythms and manage titratable drips independently.
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Minimum 2 years of ICU experience in a 600+ bed teaching facility.
- Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required.
- Experience with treating sepsis, GI bleed, and trauma conditions.
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and fulfill weekend/holiday requirements.
- Competence with charting systems such as Cerner.
