Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Respiratory Therapist - NICU to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

Provide respiratory therapy services for neonates, infants, pediatric, adolescents, and adult patients.
Perform critical care duties, including experience with high frequency jet ventilators in NICU settings.
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive patient care.
Assist in high-risk deliveries and emergency procedures as needed.
Maintain detailed and accurate records using Epic charting system.
Coordinate weekend shifts and comply with published scheduling guidelines.

Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years of experience in NICU and pediatric critical care.
Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, NRP, and PALS required.
Proficiency in use of oscillating ventilators and interpretation of arterial blood gases.
Licensed as a Registered Respiratory Therapist in North Carolina.
Experience with Level IV NICU and pediatric cardiac anomalies.
Familiarity with Epic charting system preferred.
