Job Summary
Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care during antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum phases.
- Utilize the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies.
- Demonstrate critical thinking and leadership in planning for safe delivery of care.
- Maintain clinical competencies through ongoing education.
- Delegate patient care tasks based on staff education and experience.
- Supervise and direct assigned personnel delivering patient care.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years experience in travel nursing, particularly in L&D postpartum and nursery care.
- Current ACLS, BLS, and NRP certifications; PALS can be obtained within 30 days of hire.
- Flexible to float to other units as required by facility needs.
- AWHONN certification preferred, can be completed onsite.
- Compliance with AHCA requirements for Florida placements.
- Experience in securing housing within 50 miles of the facility prior to assignment acceptance.
