Job Summary
Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Respiratory Therapist - NICU to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.
Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory therapy services to neonatal patients in a NICU setting.
- Collaborate with medical teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Operate and manage ventilators and other respiratory equipment.
- Perform and interpret arterial blood gases and other diagnostic tests.
- Educate and support patients and their families about respiratory care needs.
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation using Epic charting system.
Qualifications
- Valid Nebraska State Respiratory Therapist license or willingness to obtain.
- Current certification in ACLS and BLS required.
- CRT required, RRT preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in respiratory therapy, including experience in large Level 1 Trauma centers.
- Experience with Epic charting system preferred.
- Willingness to comply with facility requirements, including COVID-19 vaccination mandates.
