Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Respiratory Therapist in the NICU to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced respiratory care in a NICU setting, ensuring adherence to established protocols and guidelines.
• Collaborate effectively with the interdisciplinary team to plan, evaluate, and deliver care for critically ill neonates.
• Administer and manage mechanical ventilation and high-flow oxygen therapy as per physician orders.
• Ensure accurate documentation of patient care using Epic charting systems.
• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' respiratory status and adjust care plans accordingly.
• Educate families about respiratory care procedures and system usage.

Qualifications

• Active Respiratory Therapist license, with Nebraska licensing preferred at time of submission.
• Minimum of 3 years of respiratory therapy experience, including one year in a Level 1 Trauma Center.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required; CRT required, RRT preferred.
• Familiarity with Epic charting system is preferred.
• Experience in NICU settings with complex respiratory and critical care scenarios.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
