Job Summary
Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Respiratory Therapist to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.
Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory therapy treatments and modalities per physician orders.
- Monitor patient progress and document respiratory therapy interventions.
- Implement emergency procedures for airway protection and ventilation support.
- Educate patients and families on respiratory care management and procedures.
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to optimize patient care plans.
- Ensure compliance with clinical protocols and safety standards in all activities.
Qualifications
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential with active Washington state license.
- ACLS, BLS, NRP, and PALS certifications are required.
- Experience with charting systems, particularly Epic, is preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of recent respiratory therapy experience.
- Experience in critical access or trauma care settings is advantageous.
- Ability to float between facilities if required and to work every other weekend.
