Job Summary
Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse specializing in Labor & Delivery to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in Labor & Delivery, antepartum, and postpartum settings.
- Administer medications, including pitocin and magnesium sulfate, and manage patient conditions.
- Participate in patient triage and assessment of obstetric emergencies.
- Work collaboratively with neonatal and obstetric teams, supporting deliveries and postpartum care.
- Ensure accurate documentation in the EPIC charting system.
- Participate in unit-based orientation and comply with facility protocols and guidelines.
Qualifications
- Current RN license with the ability to submit and work in an acute care setting.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Labor & Delivery, adept at titrating drips.
- Required certifications: AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring, BLS, NRP, STABLE preferred.
- Comfortable working with high-risk obstetric patients and performing scrub duties.
- Experience with GE/Corometrics EFM systems and reading telemetry strips in recovery settings.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, able to adapt to flexible scheduling demands.
