Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Oncology to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

Meet expectations of the applicable competencies: Leader of Self, Leader of Others, or Leader of Leaders.
Provide nursing care utilizing the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
Address complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families.
Administer medications and treatments, monitor side-effects and effectiveness based on protocols.
Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided accurately.
Assess learning needs and educate patients, family members, and caregivers; identify issues and resources.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing, preferred.
1 year of experience in the oncology nursing specialty, preferred.
BLS certification from AHA required.
RN License in state of employment or compact.
Capability to work night shifts, weekends included.
Strong ability to manage complex patient cases independently and collaboratively.
