Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Radiology/Imaging - Radiation Therapist to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Administer radiation therapy to patients as prescribed by the radiation oncologist.
• Ensure accurate positioning and set-up of patients for treatment delivery.
• Operate and maintain radiation therapy equipment, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
• Coordinate daily patient schedules and ensure timely documentation of treatment.
• Monitor patient reactions and responses during and post-treatment, reporting any concerns.
• Work closely with the healthcare team to provide optimal patient care in an acute care setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years experience as a Radiation Therapist.
• BLS Certification, American Registry of Radiologic Technology, California License in Radiation Therapy.
• Certified Radiation Therapist - ARRT (T) Verification required.
• Proficient in software: Varian Systems including Aria and Eclipse, Elekta, MS4, and Cerner charting system.
• Ability to treat 10 - 20 patients daily in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and organizational skills necessary for effective patient care.
