Job Summary
Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Respiratory Therapist - NICU to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.
Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory therapy services in a Level 4 NICU for neonates and pediatric patients.
- Administer treatments, perform assessments, and monitor patient progress in cooperation with clinical staff.
- Ensure adherence to all facility policies and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Participate in shift rotations, including weekends and holidays, to meet department needs.
- Perform bronchoscopy and extubation procedures as required.
- Utilize Epic charting system to document patient care in an accurate and timely manner.
Qualifications
- Current NBRC certification and SC RCP license required.
- BLS, PALS, and NRP certifications are mandatory.
- Two years of pediatric, neonate, and infant experience; Level 4 NICU experience required.
- Previous experience with Epic charting system preferred.
- RRT license must be in hand at time of start; pending licenses not accepted.
- Able to meet facility floating requirements based on experience.
