Job Summary
Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Oncology to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.
Responsibilities
- Administer chemotherapy and immunotherapy to oncology patients.
- Provide care to hematology patients and patients requiring non-oncology infusions.
- Manage and monitor infusion pumps and medications.
- Conduct therapeutic phlebotomy and intravenous therapy management.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including pharmacy and radiology.
- Ensure compliance with infection control practices and safety standards.
Qualifications
- Valid RN license; Chemo Certification required (ONS/ONCC).
- Minimum 2 years of recent experience in an infusion center or outpatient oncology setting.
- Current BLS certification; OCN preferred.
- Proficiency in administering IM subcutaneous injections and handling therapeutic phlebotomy.
- Experience with Epic charting system or similar EMR.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to educate patients and families.
