Job Summary
Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to labor and delivery patients.
- Assist with high-risk deliveries and C-sections.
- Administer and monitor medications and interventions, including Magnesium Sulfate therapy.
- Monitor fetal heart rate patterns and apply External Fetal Monitoring.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care.
- Maintain accurate patient documentation and comply with hospital protocols.
Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse license in California.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in labor and delivery settings.
- BLS, ACLS, NRP certifications required; AWHONN Intermediate required, Advanced preferred.
- Ability to circulate and assist in high-acuity deliveries.
- Experience with electronic charting systems, preferably Epic.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.
