Job Summary
Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified RN, Wound Care to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive wound care and management for patients with chronic, surgical, and trauma wounds.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Utilize advanced wound care techniques including VAC therapy and enzymatic debridement.
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation using Epic charting systems.
- Conduct patient and family education sessions on wound care and prevention.
- Ensure adherence to infection control protocols and PPE requirements.
Qualifications
- Current RN license in California is required.
- Minimum of 2 years of hospital experience in wound care.
- Certification in Wound Care or WOCN is required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required; ACLS preferred.
- Proficiency in Epic charting system is highly preferred.
- Experience as a first-time traveler with 5+ years of overall nursing experience is acceptable.
