Job Summary
Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Mammography Tech to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform mammographic examinations ensuring high-quality imaging.
- Operate radiological diagnostic equipment with skill and precision.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide excellent patient care.
- Maintain patient records accurately and confide with HIPAA regulations.
- Ensure radiation safety measures are upheld consistently.
- Educate patients on the imaging process and address any concerns.
Qualifications
- Valid California Medical Radiographer license required.
- BLS and ARRT(M) certifications are mandatory.
- Completion of a formal AMA school of Radiologic Technology required.
- Minimum of 40 hours in structured Mammography education required.
- Prior experience as a Radiologic/Mammography Technologist preferred.
- Proficient in medical terminology and electronic practice management systems.
