Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Telemetry to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to patients in a 21-bed telemetry unit with a focus on cardiac conditions and med-surg diagnoses.
• Administer and manage set-rate Cardizem and Amiodarone drips, as well as occasional Bumex and Lasix.
• Read and interpret cardiac monitoring strips, utilizing in-unit monitors for real-time assessments.
• Collaborate with charge nurses and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care and staffing ratios.
• Engage in unit-specific tasks such as EKGs, bladder scans, and ADLs while maintaining patient safety and compliance.
• Float to other hospital units as needed while providing care appropriate to skill level and training.

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse license in the state of West Virginia or compact state licensure.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required at the time of application.
• Minimum of 1 year of telemetry or cardiac care nursing experience.
• Proficiency in EPIC charting system and reading cardiac strips.
• Strong ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing up to 6 patient discharges and admissions per day.
• Experience with set-rate drips and basic telemetry monitoring preferred.
