Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Respiratory Therapist specializing in CRT to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care services, including the management of neonatal oscillating vents in the NICU.
• Float between Bridgeport Hospital and Milford Campuses as needed.
• Work every other weekend and holidays per schedule requirements.
• Orientate students and new hires if required.
• Participate in interdisciplinary care planning and execution.
• Ensure all respiratory equipment is functioning properly and maintain technical proficiency.

Qualifications

• Current BLS and CRT or RRT certification along with a valid CT state license.
• Minimum of 2 years NICU experience required, with Level 1 Trauma Experience preferred.
• Proficient in using Draeger and neonatal oscillating ventilators.
• Experience in a critical care environment is essential.
• Prior travel experience in healthcare settings required.
• Ability to float across various hospital units, including NICU and Pediatrics.
