Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Operating Room to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care in the operating room, focusing on orthopedic and neurological cases.
• Assist in surgical procedures such as laparoscopic cholecystectomy, appendectomy, and bariatric surgeries.
• Participate in call rotation, including weeknight and weekend call requirements.
• Collaborate effectively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare staff during operations.
• Maintain accurate documentation using Epic charting system.
• Adapt to varying case types, including DaVinci robotic surgeries and high-acuity oncological procedures.

Qualifications

• Active Nebraska RN license or ability to obtain prior to start date.
• Minimum of 2 years of OR experience as a Registered Nurse required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Experience with DaVinci robotic systems preferred.
• Previous travel nurse experience preferred; first-time travelers not accepted.
• Orthopedic, neurological, and oncology experience highly preferred.
