Job Summary
Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Electrophysiology Tech to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform electrophysiology studies and device implants, including pacemakers and defibrillators.
- Conduct specialized tests such as Cardiac Electrophysiology study and Cardioversion.
- Utilize Philips and Siemens X-Ray machines for accurate imaging.
- Monitor hemodynamics and ensure accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.
- Assist in ablations for arrhythmias such as atrial flutter and ventricular tachycardia.
- Ensure compliance with all safety and procedural protocols within the EP lab.
Qualifications
- Certification in ACLS and BLS required, CCI RCES/RCIS certification required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an EP lab setting.
- Proficient in Cerner charting system and hemodynamic monitoring.
- Experience with EKG settings, including inpatient and outpatient care.
- Experience with Siemens and GE x-ray equipment required; 3D mapping experience preferred.
- DC license required, pending applications may be accepted.
