Job Summary
Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Respiratory Therapist - NICU to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.
Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory therapy to neonates, infants, and pediatric patients in a Level IV NICU setting.
- Operate high frequency jet ventilator and oscillating ventilator for patient care.
- Assist in high-risk deliveries and manage pediatric cardiac anomalies.
- Perform respiratory assessments and interpret arterial blood gases (ABGs).
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
- Document patient care in the EPIC charting system.
Qualifications
- Current NC RRT license or compact state license in hand.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in NICU and pediatric critical care.
- Certifications in ACLS, BLS, NRP, and PALS required.
- Experience with high frequency jet and oscillating ventilators.
- Familiarity with ECMO and high flow nasal cannula procedures.
- Proficiency in managing ventilated patients, including weaning from mechanical ventilation.
