Job Summary
Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Respiratory Therapist - NICU to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.
Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory therapy services to neonates, infants, and pediatric patients in a NICU setting.
- Operate high-frequency jet ventilators and oscillating ventilators.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to manage pediatric cardiac anomalies.
- Assist in high-risk deliveries and perform required respiratory interventions.
- Maintain accurate patient records utilizing the Epic charting system.
- Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and provide input based on respiratory assessments.
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of NICU and pediatric critical care experience.
- Current NC RRT license in hand at time of application.
- Certifications in ACLS, BLS, NRP, and PALS are required.
- Experience with level IV NICU and high-frequency ventilators.
- Familiarity with ECMO and comprehensive respiratory skills.
- Willingness to work six weekend shifts per schedule rotation.
